I became interested in Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine at an early age having experienced the benefits myself as a patient. I sought treatment for health concerns that were not being fully addressed within the scope of mainstream medicine. I felt so much better from the treatment and wanted to know how this system of medicine works. I did a little research on the philosophy and it just clicked for me. I decided I wanted to study it and pursue a career as a practitioner.
What I love most about practicing Traditional Chinese Medicine is that each client that walks into my office has such a unique pattern. Each patient's diagnosis and treatment plan is completely individualized and determined by a comprehensive system of medicine, balancing the body, mind and spirit.
'Full Bloom' describes flowers, people and other living things when they are vibrant, full of life, energy and beauty. My purpose is to help my clients reach a Full Bloom state of health and well being. This is achieved by using my knowledge, talents and expertise as a practitioner, which includes coaching, education and treatment with acupuncture and herbal medicine. A good rapport is necessary between the patient and practitioner and I believe that my background in Psychology gives me the added skill of really listening and communicating effectively with my patients.
When I am not seeing patients, I am actively trying to spread the word and educate the public about the benefits of Traditional Chinese Medicine by both lecturing and writing.
