Acupuncture & Chinese Medicine

— For Body, Soul, & Spirit

For all the things your doctors have been treating separately.

Maybe it's your sleep, your digestion, your stress levels, your energy, your mood. Maybe it's all of the above. Chinese medicine works with the patterns, the rhythms, the bigger picture of what your body is trying to tell you.

Does any of this sound familiar?

  • Your labs are normal but you haven't felt normal in a long time

  • You're exhausted in a way that sleep doesn't fix — like a candle about to flicker out

  • Anxiety and stress have become the weather you live in rather than something that passes

  • Your digestion, sleep or energy feels unpredictable and there's no logical reason why

  • You're moving through a life transition and looking for something to help you find your footing.

  • You're ready for medicine that tends to your roots, not just your branches

My Unique Approach

Listening to the landscape

The medicine I practice is rooted in classical Chinese medicine — a tradition that has always understood the body as a landscape, shaped by nature, and the movement of the seasons

What that means in practice is that your anxiety, your fatigue, your digestive issues are never treated in isolation. They're part of a larger pattern — and that pattern tells a story. My job is to help you understand that story and work with it rather than against it.

This is medicine that goes deeper than symptom relief. Not because symptom relief isn't important — but because lasting change happens at the root.

Getting started is simple

Step One

Reach out by filling out my contact form and tell me a little about what's bringing you in. I'll be in touch to schedule your initial session.

Step Two

We meet and dig in. Your first appointment is 90 minutes. We'll go through your full history, your cycle and your goals. Then we get to work.

Step Three

We build from there. Over time the patterns become clearer and the medicine becomes more precise and personalized.

FAQs

  • Most people are surprised by how comfortable acupuncture actually is. The needles are hair-thin — nothing like a typical injection. You may feel a mild sensation of pressure, warmth or tingling at the needle site, which is actually a sign the treatment is working. Most people leave feeling deeply relaxed.

  • Comfortable, loose fitting clothing is ideal. We'll need access to your lower legs, arms and abdomen in most cases. Think yoga clothes or anything easy to roll up or move around in.

  • Everyone is different and I always work with what you're able to commit to. That said, I generally recommend giving it around three months for lasting change. Most people notice a shift relatively quickly — but the deeper work takes time.

  • Your first appointment is 90 minutes. We'll spend most of that time talking — your history, your symptoms, your lifestyle, your patterns. Chinese medicine takes the whole picture into account. After the intake, we move into treatment — a gentle acupuncture session followed by about 30 minutes of rest while the needles do their work.

  • Herbal medicine is optional but often a powerful complement to acupuncture. If I think a formula would support your healing we'll discuss it together. There's never any pressure.
